So we got this project today in art where we had to find the animal that most resembles ourselves and draw it using accessories to make it look like us. I picked an emu, because one, it's a really stupid looking creature with bulgy eyes and a pointy nose, two, its got fluffly hair/feathers, and three, it has a long neck. Unlike most people in my class who chose cats,dogs, bears, etc. I decided to pick the strangest, but most fitting animal I could.
And I did NOT choose to do this in Prismacolor pencils. I HATE those stupid things. UGH. They're all waxy and they blend all weird and they melt and they're gushy and just UGH. I. Hate.Prismacolor. Color.Pencils THere you have it. So let me explain. As you may know, Emus do not have green eyes and blue/green/black hair, and most importantly, Emus do NOT wear sunglasses on their heads. I chose the green eyes because if you don't already know, I have green eyes. (duh) Now I don't have blue/green hair, but I chose those colors to represent my personality. This wacky choice of hair color represents my blatant randomness and wackiness. And I congratulate you if you actually read all that. here's a cookie.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
